Admission Requirements
UTME Entry Mode (4-Year Degree Programme)
Candidates must have credit passes in five Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and one of the following: Economics, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, or Business Methods. These should be obtained in no more than two sittings.
Direct Entry Mode (3-Year Degree Programme)
Applicants should have at least two A-Level passes in relevant subjects or an ND/HND in a relevant discipline.
UTME Entry Mode (4-Year Degree Programme)
Applicants must have credit passes in five subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, one credit in Economics, Commerce, or any business management-related course, and two credits from other subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Direct Entry Mode (3-Year Degree Programme)
Applicants must have five credit passes in the GCE or an equivalent examination, with at least two of the credits at the Advanced Level, or four credit passes with at least three at the Advanced Level.
UTME Entry Mode (4-Year Degree Programme)
Candidates must have credit passes in five Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) subjects, including Mathematics, English Language, and three other arts or social science subjects, in no more than two sittings.
Direct Entry Mode (3-Year Degree Programme)
Candidates may be admitted with a merit-level pass in a diploma program in Mass Communication, Journalism, or related disciplines (provided the SSC requirements are met). Alternatively, candidates can present two passes in relevant subjects at Advanced Level, two major subject passes in the NCE, or two passes in the IJMB examination.
UTME Entry Mode (4-Year Degree Programme)
Candidates must obtain credit passes in five Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and any of the following: Economics, Financial Accounting, Marketing, Commerce, or Business Methods, in no more than two sittings.
Direct Entry Mode (3-Year Degree Programme)
Applicants should possess at least two A-Level passes in relevant subjects or a National Diploma (ND)/Higher National Diploma (HND) in related disciplines.
UTME Entry Mode (4-Year Degree Programme)
Candidates should possess a Senior School Certificate (SSC) with at least five credit passes, including Mathematics, English Language, and Economics.
Three-Year Programme
Candidates shall possess five SSC credits and must have acceptable passes in at least two social science subjects, including Economics, at the Advanced Level.
Direct Entry Mode
Candidates may qualify with:
- A pass at merit level in a diploma program in Mass Communication, Journalism, or related disciplines (with SSC requirements satisfied).
- Two passes in relevant subject areas at Advanced Level.
- Passes in two major subjects in relevant areas in the NCE.
- Two passes at the IJMB examination.
