Admission Requirements

UTME Entry Mode (5-Year Degree Programme)

Applicants must achieve the required UTME scores and have five SSC credit passes, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, in no more than two sittings.

Direct Entry Mode (4-Year Degree Programme)

Applicants must have a BSc in Biochemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, or Zoology, or GCE ‘A’ level credits in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, plus the SSC credits, or hold a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certificate with specified credits in relevant subjects, to enter at 200 Level.

UTME Entry Mode (5-Year Degree Programme)

Applicants must achieve the required UTME scores and have five SSC (or equivalent) credit passes, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English Language, in no more than two sittings.

Direct Entry Mode (4-Year Degree Programme)

Candidates with a Registered Nurse Certificate (RN) or Registered Midwife Certificate (RM) and five SSC credit passes, plus two Advanced Level subjects, may be admitted directly.

UTME Entry Mode (4-Year Degree Programme)

Candidates must obtain at least five credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE/NECO/GCE) exams, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry, Physics, or another Science subject.

Direct Entry Mode (3-Year Degree Programme)

Candidates with a National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Dental Technology, Community Health Extension, or who are Registered Nurses or Midwives, may be considered. They must also have five SSC (or equivalent) credit passes in relevant subjects, with two at the Advanced Level.

UTME Entry Mode (6-Year Degree Programme)

Candidates must have a minimum of five credit passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English Language at SSCE, GCE ‘O’ Level, or its equivalents.

Direct Entry Mode (5-Year Degree Programme)

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in related Health Sciences disciplines or passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the GCE Advanced Level may be admitted into 200 Level.
